The mystique of MORE

 MORE is a mystique. That which every man consciously or unconsciously searches for.

This has been the experience of many, so, if you happen to be experiencing this, you're definitely not alone.

Man have tasted a range of things, that has never brought satisfaction. Man has done drugs, sex, career, money, fame, power, accomplishments, gadgets, name it.... it's just hopeless. They all left man panting like a deer in the middle of a desert, thirstier even more than before he tasted them....a hopeless hope.

Man has this vacuum in him that wants more. But what is this 'MORE' and where can he find it?

It's is a mystique! Who's going to unravel it?

Genesis 1:2-3 (MSG)

First this: God created the Heavens and the Earth-all you see, all you don't see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God's Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.

In the beginning, earth was void, a chaos, an emptiness, pitch blackness. Earth was nothing to write home about. Earth had no future. Earth had no hope.

Earth was just there.

It was not until God came into the affairs of earth that it's purpose began to show forth. It was not until God brought light into it that it's fertileness blossomed and it became a blessing. Before God came into the affairs of Earth, it was nothing to write home about. 

You would note something about Earth in the beginning; God's Spirit brooded over it. This means that the Spirit of God was near it. 

You and I are that Earth today. Since the Fall, there has been a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness that can only be resolved by God. But you know a great news?! MORE is near us; closer to us much more than we could have ever imagined.

Paraphrasing Joyce Meyer : the more we try to ignore God in our affairs, the more unhappy we become.....

If a  man's life is going to make any sense, he cannot do without God. Every other thing that may look like they are enough, or can fill this emptiness are so off it.

Little wonder man can never be satisfied with any other thing except God. IT'S A BOTTOMLESS EMPTINESS! No amount of career, money, accomplishments, fame, sex, knowledge whatsoever can fill that bottomless emptiness.

The first thing God called forth upon Earth was Light. God spoke: "Light!" And light appeared. Genesis 1:3(AMP).

Jesus came into the world as Light: In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

It's only in Him, that we find definition to our lives. Only when He comes into the affairs of man do man begin to birth his fruitfulness. Who knew that so much abundance can be gotten from Earth? 

Only in Jesus can we find satisfaction!

Jesus is the 'MORE'

MORE; the only THING that brings satisfaction

Only Jesus satisfies, no other thing does!

So my advice for you, amigo, is that you go for MORE, the only THING that satisfies. If you're already with MORE, and you've given your life to Him, then congratulations. But if you haven't, it's still not too late to do so.

You can say these few words of prayer: 

"Lord Jesus, I'm exhausted. I've tried a lot of options in quest of filling the void in me, but I only get thirstier. I want more, and You are that MORE. I'm giving myself to You today, coming to rest in Your loving and strong arms. Take over my life today. Wash away my sins and write my name in the book of life. From today till eternity, make me yours, my Lord and my Savior."

If you just said this prayer, I welcome you into the family of God! It's Abba's delight to have you closer to Him. Begin to feast upon the Word, and join a fellowship of brethren to make you gain stamina fast.

Hold on to MORE, don't let go, He won't let you go either. " For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death, nor life, neither angels nor demons or other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future, neither the world above not the world below-there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 37-39 (GNV).
