My Loving Lover; Episode 3

Infact, over the twelve months of their marriage, she had changed so much that it surprised him. Many times that he had lost count, she calls him to help wash her back where her hands could not reach. It's always a delight for him doing this task though and they have ended up bathing together....

And she tells him everything.

Now, after he had loved her one of the best ways he knows how to, he wanted to have a good sleep to get ready for the work of the day. But his lovely wife is beside him telling him of what happened to her friend. He knew she would not agree to talk about this tomorrow, because by tomorrow there also definitely a lot to talk about; he's super sure of that.

"I suggest we pray for her." This was the best way to amicably bring the matter to a close and allow him get a peaceful sleep.

"Ok." She replied immediately. She strongly believes in her husband's prayer. Her experiences with him had affirmed and settled that in her heart.

They knelt down beside the bed, holding their hands together.

Ola began "Our Righteous Father, we thank You for Your love to us. We bless you also for the family of .......

"Ayorinde" she quickly chipped in as she knew her husband had paused to get the name.

"Father, we commit this family and the issue they have at hand into Your unfailing hands Lord, see to it in the name of Jesus."

"Amen"

"Father, may the devil not destroy that family in the name of Jesus"

"Amen"

"And Your heritage in that home: those Godly seeds will not be destroyed by the evil one in the name of Jesus"

"Amen"

"Thank You our loving Father, because we are having a testimony after this"

"Thank You Lord"

"We pray in Jesus'name"

"Amen"

"Glory to God" 

"Hallelujah" Sharon replied, her hands in the air in adoration to her Creator.

"It is settled, I strongly believe that. And I also strongly perceive that the devil wants to destroy that home as the children being his primary target." " He wants to perverse their destinies and remove them from the protection of the authority the Lord has given to their parents. Those children are great ambassadors and weapons in the hands of the Lord." 

"Hmm, thank You Jesus for this revelation," Sharon said thoughtfully. Come to think of it, what is the basis of all these faulty allegations Prince was laying against his wife. They had being happily married for nine years now. The children just gained admission into secondary school and now all this uproar? The children are close to adolescence and this is a critical time when they need the guidance of their parents in their lives. A strategy of the devil to distract them from focusing on their seeds and bringing them up in the way of the Lord. Only if parents are not oblivious and clearly understand the fact that children are like weapons, but the hands that sharpens them matters. Children from broken homes are easy prey to the kingdom of darkness to be devoured and brutally wounded or eternally damned. 

Ola climbed into bed. He was aching to catch some good sleep. Sharon climbed into bed beside her husband, grateful that she married a man whom she could submit to his spiritual authority without any doubt or hesitation.

Her phone rang. It was Dr Dave.

She cut the call and dropped the phone as she thought within herself.

' Why does he disturb me with calls?'  She looked at her husband who was already asleep like a baby.  She made up her mind.

' I will handle him.'

Little did she know that he was prepared to handle her.
