What's true..... what's false 🤷

What is false to you, may be true to another; that is the kind of world we find ourselves.

There's confusion regarding what is true or false, so everyone has come to the conclusion: whatever you believe is true or false for you.

And this has caused quite a habaloo!

The Holy Spirit made me understand that "a man that does not stand for something will fall for anything". We are in a world where you will fall right flat on your face if there is no governing authority over your life and a standard you stand for.

Some may attempt to use their own lives as standards, but the nature of man is too weak for man to be his own standard. There was a time in high school when I learnt in Biology that the sense of smell of man adapts to a smell after some time of exposure to the smell. 

I challenge you with these questions today:

What is your source of authority?

Who determines what for you?

Do you have any standard that guides you in life?


It is when you know what is true or false, that you would be able to discern and make the right choice.

Beloved, unless your source of authority is the Word of God, you are in a dilemma of differentiating between what is false and true.

It is a jeopardy to believe that however you feel is true for you, because it is only a matter of time that you drift towards the things you did not bargain for; things that are really toxic.

The society already has a lot of things that will influence our decisions of what is true or false;


entertainment industry

social media

school, etc.

There are so many people today that have a hard time making choices e.g. regarding the concept of homosexuality, abortion, transgenderism, cross-dressing, etc.

But what is God saying about them?

Because in the end, that is the only thing that will matter.

This is not an issue of morals, but that of discernment of what is true or false!

And we can only know the mind of God through His Word; the Bible.


So, open it today and, under the influence of the Holy Spirit, let it guide your decisions and judgement of what is true or false. Because my dear, you will be making a lot of decisions this year.

Strength is for service, not status

 Two days later, Uncle Sola arrived in Lagos, Nigeria. A lot of things were now different from how they were ten years ago when he left. It's quite sad that he was home in the midst of this condition. Had it been his brother was his hale and hearty self,  they would have toured the whole of Lagos together.
