The amphibic frog 🐸🤷

 There are a lot of things to be grateful to God for: salvation of soul, health, family, good, laughter, mental serenity, shelter, clothing........

But many times we overlook these things and feel like we're not blessed. 

Whatever your state might be, you are not without a blessing of God ✨. So cheer up honey 💖💫✨

Let's go into today's business......

When I was in secondary school, my teacher said something that actually stuck to my memory:

"A frog, when placed in a pot of water that is being heated keeps adjusting itself to the temperature until it finally dies."

Frogs are amphibians and cold-blooded animals. It's characteristic for amphibians to adjust themselves to the temperatures of their environments. That's to invariably say that the environment determines their body temperatures. Mammals on the other hand have a mechanism called 'thermoregulation'. The body automatically finds a way to maintain a suitable body temperature irrespective of tge temperature of the environment. That's when we talk about vasodilation, vasoconstriction, sweating, hormonal thermogenesis, shivering etc to lose heat or conserve heat as the case may be.

That's a lil bit of Biology. I love Biology though.

This is an analogy of the current world situations and christians. With the emerging woke trends, ideologies and conceptions especially in the 21st century, it is disastrous for a christian to choose to be a n amphibian; a christian should not keep adjusting to the temperature of the world in this context.

A christian is meant to have a standard!

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." Romans 12:1

A christian ought to have a sound thermoregulation system. I will tell you what it is later on.

Lately, my heart has been on fire concerning some hilariously dangerous concepts and ideologies arising in the world. And it's alarming that some christians are adjusting ( their beliefs and lifestyles to those trends) and some just complacent.

LGBTQIA+ is one of the woke trends and ideologies currently in the world. And the fact that it is being propagated aggressively, even to children ( as it has been brought to the four walls of their classrooms and in entertainment) calls for scrutiny and alertness.

""Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.

"Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand." Matthew 5:13-15 (MSG)

I want to ask you dearest, are you already becoming a frog? A frog has no temperature standard. We have a standard in this kingdom, and that is the Word of God. It's unchanging, infallible, reliable, dependable..... Through all seasons, centuries, and ages, it has never been upgraded or changed. This, coupled with the Holy Spirit is the sound Thermoregulation System!

Remember, a man that doesn't stand for something will fall for anything.

Evaluate your life with the thermoregulation system. Are you like that amphibic frog?🤷
