Adulthood na scam....or is it πŸ™„πŸ€·?

I had a lot of fantasies as a child and teenager: beautiful colorful imaginations. But what happens during adulthood? What drives those imaginations away? What takes away the excitement of being an adult?

Recently, there was a song break -out on the the internet:'Adulthood a scam'. For a moment, I thought it was true. Really, judging by the challenges I had during the breakout of the song. I asked : "Why must life be so complicated as an adult?" There are more responsibilities and more expectations of you.... decisions of where to work, who to marry, handling finance; investments or savings, what church to attend, the kind of house to rent or build..........the list is just endless.

And the one big question: Purpose ('what on earth am I here for?')

Rick Warren's world best seller book 'Purpose Driven Life's with its massive sale depicts that finding purpose seems to be a big deal to a large number of people on earth. Everyone has a purpose as designed by the Designer, Creator, Maker....and Master. But where many miss it is this: to discover purpose, you need to discover God. To understand the design, you need a relationship with the Designer. To maximize the making, you need to rapport with the Maker. It's the truth, and this, I tell you is the real deal.

So, finding purpose may not be so hard after all, or is it?

Yeah, there are many children of God, who still find discovering purpose an unraveled mystique, an unsolved riddle....and a difficult puzzle. Why?

How you ever wondered how frustrating it will be to have a new gadget, and not have the manual giving directives on how to use the gadget? Thank God for Google, but let's assume there're no search engines.....even with a search engine, you still need to get information about the gadget. If the knowledge of how to use the gadget is not known, it can be misused, underused, abused, over-used or unused at all!

Same is the case with a child of God who wants to discover purpose but doesn't read the Scriptures and meditate on it. Don't just read, meditate on it. If you read and don't meditate, it's like eating without proper digestion.

"This book of law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night...." Joshua 1:8

Every child of God has this purpose: Knowing Christ and making Christ known. But in you reading your manual, the Scriptures, you are able to decipher what is God's mind for you on how to go about this purpose. You are unique in your making, and so is your modus operandi!

Adulthood sure has its challenges, but may not be frustrating after all when we discover purpose and go about it. Infact, I think it's gonna be exotic, adventurous, exciting and challenging cruise everyday in life.

Sweetheart, we have ended the chapter of 2022, it would be catastrophic to continue the chapter of 2023 without having a clue of purpose, and getting a good grasp of it. "Adulthood na scam" should not be in the playlist of 2023. Read the Scriptures, prayerfully and open-mindedly meditate on it and get the correct insight into what He would have you do and your identity.

Have a fulfilling, productive and 'scamless' new year ✨πŸ’«πŸ’«
