Guarding it still🔞...Let's talk romance

Hullo dearest. Happy Wednesday💃....  Someone might say "What's happy with this kind of Wednesday?" But I tell you, it is a beautiful gift God has given you and whatever you are passing through, you are in your 'making' process. Remember, God is making all things work together for the good of those who love Him. So if your love for God is intact, relax in the understanding that He is making all things to work together for your good✨💯! Thanks for reading the blog last week. I hope it was impactful.  A quick question: "Did you check up any of those books?" If you haven't, please do. A friend of mine commented in my WhatsApp dm which I'd summarize that it is quite hard to stop reading love novels. Ok. Reading love novels is not the problem....the problem is reading the 'correct' kind of love novels. I mean the type that will edify us: spirit, soul and body.  Trust me, I love 'love', but with experience, I have read some wrong kinds...

Guarding it🔞🔐

Holla amigo😀👋. (I guess someone is asking "what's amigo sef?" It's Spanish word for friend😉. Now you know).  How's August going? Seems very long right? Hope it's not only me feeling this though? Welcome to Illuminingpen.blogspot.com. So much enlightening fun here, trust me😎 I saw a picture on someone's status and the Holy Spirit inspired me to pen down some things. Let's do this together💃 Guarding our hearts with all diligence as described in the Scriptures is an instruction any wise person would take. True, we might be curious and want to explore and feed our minds, but I'd say it's wisdom to do this with discretion and discerning from the Holy Spirit. I once came in contact with a book, felt in my spirit not to read, but was too curious...and went ahead to do so. It contained an ideology that was logical but was toxic to my spirit man- it negated the Scriptures. The end could have been disastrous because I was feeding my soul with toxic...

Episode Six: My Loving Lover 💖✨

EPISODE SIX: MY LOVING LOVER💖✨ Nurse Steve used the pulse oximeter to check the oxygen saturation level of Chief Begunro. It was 69%. She commenced oxygen administration to him immediately. Now, he was already gasping, like someone in hunger for air.  "Please, you need to go outside for a few minutes, don't worry, the situation is under control. " Nurse Steve addressed the relatives of the patient. Chief Begunro's wife was already crying, his son was trying to comfort his mother and at the same time bracing himself for the worst.  A phone rang. It was Chief Begunro's brother calling his son. "Sir, in fact, you called at the right time. O jo wipe o ti yiwo o. " "Yiwo bawo"  his brother asked from the other end of the phone.  "He is already receiving oxygen. Although the nurse attending to him says everything is under control, but the way he is gasping for air is really scary." "Is that so?" There was a pause. " If the...

What-confidence??

It's a beautiful evening, so I'll say "good evening". In Yoruba dialect, it means 'Ekaale o' And I believe you are faring well... thriving. Let's do some talking......... It's not uncommon to hear people say "Jesus said we'll do greater things than He did" Of course, that's very correct as recorded in the Scriptures: "I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do- yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12 (GNV) But many times, we seem to forget the condition - "those who believe in me." Many contemporary Christians today, instead of focusing on God to do it, we focus on ourselves. We tend to have self-confidence rather than God-confidence. When we have God-confidence, we have the assurance that it is not about us, but about God. When we shift our gaze from God, we focus on ourselves, or the surrounding, and hence it all becomes about 'us' a...
